Choosing Concrete Over Asphalt
At R.L and Sons Construction, we always like to say, “If you don’t choose concrete, it’s your own asphalt.”
You may be wondering why we suggest concrete over asphalt. It’s not just because that’s what we sell, although that does have something to do with it.
There are actually many reasons you shoulder consider concrete for your next project. Let us walk you through it.
- Asphalt comes in one color: dark gray. There’s nothing wrong with dark gray, but concrete can be elevated to fit whatever look you’re going for. Concrete can be stamped, stained, or dyed, giving you many design options to choose from.
2. Both asphalt and concrete will crack and wear with time, which is expected. Nothing lasts forever. However, asphalt generally needs repair sooner and more frequently than concrete. If you’re looking for something that will give you less hassle and more overall value, you should choose to build with concrete.
